Pizza wheel question??

I want to make pizza wheels. All the recipes call for puff pastry. How would this recipe turn out if i used pizza dough?

  1. Puff pastry is lighter and flaky.  Pizza dough is heavier and denser.  As far as the recipe itself, it will probably work.  The pizza wheels will just not be as light and "delicate".
