  1. What about going up to the Edinburgh Fringe festival?

  2. Try the Isle of Bute, 35 minutes sailing from Wemyss Bay on the A78 between Greenock and Largs coast road. But if you bring a car you'll pay a heavy ferry charge. Use the bus (National Express) to Glasgow, then take the train (subsidised fares in Scotland) to Wemyss Bay.

It goes straight to the ship, £5 passenger fare. On Bute there's lots of buses, and little buses into Argyll and the other islands, all dead cheap.

    And pray for sunshine.

  3. wales

tenby its such a nice place

  4. I'd suggest London. Have an evening at the theatre, stay in a plush hotel, enjoy the nightlife and do some of the museums.

  5. how about the ring of kerry, now thats british!

  6. Northumberland is a great place to stay in North Yorkshire so isnt far away. And there are loads of B&B's to chose from and plenty of cottages to rent, holiday homes and caravan/camp sites to chose from.

Also Northumberland is recommended for its castles and scenery.

  7. Lincolnshire is nice, Skegness, Spallding, Lincoln it's self would be an idea
