Playa Del Carmen?

Im considering an all inclusive, is it fun down there,what is there to do ?

It's my favorite place on earth to go. It's beautiful. You can do a ton of things down there - all sorts of fun day trips etc. Your hotel can help you plan all of those things.

That will depend a lot on how old you are, who you are traveling with, how much money you have and what you like to do when you travel.

Playa del carmen is a big spring break destination, but not in the same way as nearby Cancun as Playa is more upscale.  There are loads of bars, including some really sharp beach bars and parties where you can go clubbing to rave music while barefoot.  If that's your thing you will find plenty of it in Playa.  It is pricey, though.  Drinks can cost 80 pesos or more ($8 and up) and entry at clubs 250 pesos or more.

Aside from the party scene, Playa del carmen does have a beautiful shoreline.  The caribbean is ice blue and stunning on a warm sunny day.

There are also plenty of side trips you can take.  My suggestions would be to head down to Tulum for a bit, or even take a ferry to Cozumel island where you can go diving or snorkeling.  

For more cultural visits, there are buses that take trips to Chichen Itza and Uxmal several times a day, and the colonial town of Merida is nice for a day (though not much longer).

Basically there is something for everyone in or around playa del carmen, so enjoy!

I just returned from a 10 day vacation in Playa del Carmen, and it was the best vacation I had in many years. I stayed at the Playacar Palace which is very close to the 5th Avenue shopping and entertainment area (walking distance). Restaurants, and night life abound. In addition, all day trips are included.

Depends on your age, Cancun will be much more appeling to a single person around 18 - 25.

Playa Car is visited more by europeans, is smaller and with a much relaxed atmosphere, but can party also.

i stayed at the lindo,,, its nice...  the riviera maya is better...stay at the aventura palace, you have never had such service
