If a player was born in Brazil, he moved to US at his early age and joined the US U-18 team. My question is, will this player still be able to play for Brazil after that?

  1. Yes, he will. Once he plays for the senior Brazil team, however, he will not be able to play for any other national team (regardless of citizenship).

An example is that of Giuseppe Rossi. Rossi was born to Italian parents in the US. He has represented Italy at all the junior levels (and is currently playing for Italy at the Olympics). He still, however, can decide to play for the US (of course, that's not gonna happen...but just an example).
