Playstation 3 Remote Please Answer.?

Question

Details:

1-I take the remote

2-I take the PS3

3-Connect it to PS3

4-Press the PS Button

5-Remote blinks for like a minute

6-Does >>Not<< get sync

Description:

Dualshock 3 from China,Hong Kong

It came with Dualshock 3 and Wireless USB Communicator

Controller is Black

Controller is Charged.

I tried:

1-When I plug the PS Button it blinks for one minute

Then wait till it stops and unplug USB cable.

Then press PS Button.

It still blinks.

2-Tried alone just pressing PS Button.

It just blinks.

3-I've tried other things that I don't remember.

My Playstation 3 is on!

It also said its compatible with any PS3.

Try going into settings, accessories And tell it to reassign controller. Then pick remote so you can sync the remote.  Also on the front of the controller is a pinhole for resetting the controller.

Try resetting the controller. There is a pinchole on the back. Insert something thin in and press it. After that, connect the pad to PS3 (while it&#039;s on) and press PS button.

i cannot speak on the hong kong versions of the system, but the SCEA system uses wired usb for serial connection and Bluetooth for wireless transmission. If this the same across the board? That would kinda make a USB wireless dongle overkill.

Anyways, the controller has an LED on the face that blinks while the battery is charging. The problem you seem to be describing is the controller not having enough of a charge to be usable. Leave the system turned on and the controller charging(will it charge over wireless USB?) If there is a wired usb connection you can definately use that to charge the controller..

After a few minutes without use the controller will become active.

it will blink.that is a sign that it is charging but only the #1 is blinking.

weird, in the meantime try buying a PS2 to PS3 controller adapter, you can use that but i think the controller may be malfuntioning, go into the menu and go to the hardware bit and go into controller section and set it to player 1 , that might work, dont know the details but you seem pretty comfortable with navigating aorund the system
