Please Help! Freshman!

Question

So I'm a guy I'm about to be a freshman and I'm scared I might get trash canned or beaten up or something and if older kids try to pick a fight or push me around what should I do fight back or ignore them! please help!!

Ignore them! but really you don't have nothing to worry about HS is just another experience. I think that what you saying just happen on movies I don't know! I don't think it happens in real life, at least not in my case! my freshman year was pretty good and I never heard of someone been treated like that...but sure you'll find people that would be pickin on you! Ignore them! that's the best way to fight them back x)

it's not as harsh as you may think it is. it really depends on where you live, but usually these fights aren't as bad as you think.

relax high school is not scary as  you think nobody is going to  pick a fight with you and you are not going to get canned at least on the first day just stay with your friends you well be alrite have fun good luck

Dude, relax. Most High schools (Hopefully yours is one of them) is pretty strict on this stuff.

But, you WILL get picked on..This cannot be stopped, but just ignore it, it's only going to be like shoving to verbal picking. But you've probably been through that

But hopefully not Trashed or what not. In my School, Trashing, Beating people up, stuff like that = Automatic Suspension/Expelled, and most likely the cops and/or parents will be called.

Also, you're probably worrying about "Freshmen Friday", DOES NOT exist... at least not in my school. Freshmen Friday has extra guard for the freshmen students, and same rules apply about the Suspensions and Expulsions (expelling).

Hopefully you have a Freshmen Orientation coming soon so you can learn about this stuff more.

But if someone does pick on you, don't fight back or you will be JUST AS EQUAL. Even if he kicks you in the bawlz, if you throw a punch back, you will be just as much trouble for fueling the violence. So try to play it safe.

hey, well i was a freshmen last year and i was so worried about all of that. there is not much to worry about. just have fun with it and if there is anytime someone is picking on you, you can always turn to friends or teachers. as stupid as that sounds it helps.

and over time if you have classes with students in other grades you become close with them and make new friends.

just ignore them... they won't even fight you if you didn't do anything wrong!

Yeah, unless you're a freshman football player, you won't get picked on at all.

I mean, it depends on what town you live in, but basically its just "get through the halls and get to your classes". There's no slamming people into lockers or trashcans or swirleys or anything like that.
