Please Help!?!?!?

OK well you know the pop ups or websites that are saying that they will give you an iPod for free or a laptop or something like that..? Well are they real? Will they actually give you them?

Like what do you have to do to get them? Have any of you ever tried and won or what happened to you?

Also are there any risks with the sites?

Thanks.

  1. Oftentimes, you have to fill out these massively long surveys that take a tremendous amount of time but if you're bored and actually go through with it, you'll get the free item. They just usually bank on people NOT wanting to go through with all of those. Sometimes, they'll throw promotional offers at you and you have to agree to at least one of them but they may be good incentives. A popular offer that people seem to pounce on is Netflix.

  2. Keep your eyes wide open: nobody works for free!

  3. I'm not 100% sure about it being true, as though I have never even heard of someone filling out those things and actually getting something out of it.

    So, I wouldn't even try.

  4. huh. there all virus and other bouges stuff. do not trust these.

  5. They flood you with ads plus they sell your name, phone, email and home adress  to anyone who will buy it.  Some of them will require you to buy something from one or more of their advertisers.  One of the things is that it negates the do not call and no junk mail list because you give them permission to send you all of that junk - forever.  Look at it this way, find out how much the iPod they are offering costs, this company would not make an offer like this unless they are positive that they can make that amount plus a hansome profit.   BTW, there is a similar program for free laptops as well with the same drawbacks.
