Please Help?!!?

Question

Well, In september I am going to go to 8th grade! I really want to take the PSAT. However, i do not know how to apply and please don't tell me to go to the guidance counselor for that is not possible...for many reasons. i live in New York, so if anyone can please tell me how i can apply! I would be very thabkful if you gave me the phone number...or website...or shared your personal experience...or if you know the best way for me to alpply. What do i need to have and when can i do this. Thank you!

I had always believed that you couldn't take the PSAT until you were at least in the 11th grade. But, for me, that was nearly 20 years ago. Maybe the rules have changed since then. Anyhow, I found a website that will give you the information you need as well as registration and dates. The link is listed below. The College Board website also has info on how to prepare for the test, and gives you a daily sample question from the SAT. If you're able to take the test now, then I wish you the best of luck. I never took the PSAT, but I did take the SAT and it wasn't easy.

i took that in 7th. It was from Duke. And my school automacally signed me up for it... It was either free or really cheap (i forget which) and i am glad i took it. I would try contacting local colleges and ask if they offer the program... or call your school and ask if they offer it..
