  1. He was asked a similar question by an ABC tag a long , here's the correspondence:

"If you had to do it over again, knowing what you know now, would you support the surge:"

Obama "No, because keep in mind that question, you wouldn't ... but keep in mind that kind of hypothetical is very difficult to know hindsight is 20-20 ... later ... but I think that what I'm absolutely convinced of is that at that time we had to change the political debate because the view of the Bush administration at that time was one that I just disagreed with."

People consider this guy a great speaker, maybe they should vote for his speech writers!!

  2. His trip to Iraq was a padded...cushy...emperor visit...that sadly showed me he allready thinks he has won the election...because he hid...he did not walk down the safe streets...he hid...he's still just a senator who isn't even doing the job he was elected to do in Illinois...and as the  commander in chief he will be ordering men to do what he himself won't.

  3. Afghanistan and Iraq are two different countries with different fighting situations that's why.  Of course, the surge in Iraq has produced less violence.  Add to that the shifts in political positions by some of the discordant factions and there is even more reason to leave Iraq.  Bush and McCain are on record as saying US troops would and should be withdrawn at the request of the Iraqi government.

So far this week, Obama 1, McCain Zero

  4. Without military experience, he doesn't know what he wants.  He's no more suited to be president than a typical college graduate.

Obama's favorite position is on his knees in front of the Muslim terrorists of the world.

    McCain IS our new president.

  5. You can't explain the moron. He's not "flying by the seat of his pants" He's flying with his pants down.

Figures the black women likes him. Blacks are so racist!

  6. It is because Iraq, was a war we should not have been in and is costing too much money. He believes we need to pull out. Remember the American military is very capable. And with 140, 000 soldiers they can do a lot. But we don't have a solid objective there. And anyways they're asking us to leave so our hans our tied.

However, NATO is responsible for the Afghan war. They are calling for more troops. Many nations, Canada, Germany, France, the UK etc all sent soldiers. However, they feel America is not matching what they are putting in, since these nations went in because America was attacked. We but 140, 000 soldiers in the wrong country. Afghanistan was a defensive war while Iraq was offensive. We need to have our priorities straight.

  7. He doesn't know what he's doing.  He's flying by the seat of his pants.
