Please help, I am terrified.?

Question

I just got a letter in the mail today from my counties court.

Last month I was granted sole custody of mine and my exboyfriends daughter. (He is not in her life at all, has only seen her once and claims to "hate that ugly *** thing") I was also granted physical placement, as well as child support/medical expenses.

The letter I received said that her father (who did NOT show up to ANY of our court dates) had requested a hearing because he objects the judgement of child support, placement, and medical expenses.

it also says that the hearing is scheduled for: hearing De Novo.

I do not know what any of this means, please help me out.

I don't know any other advice to give you except to

PRAY, PRAY,PRAY. Also read the Bible. I believe

that God will help you through this situation. It may

seem scary and frustrating but not to The Lord!

De novo is a new trial. You need to get a lawyer. If he didnt show up to the previous hearings, he already doesnt look good to the courts, so try not to be terrified. Good luck
