1. i waited six months before i first changed my belly ring. i wear long dangly ones that are pretty heavy tho so i wanted to be sure the piercing was healed and strong enough. your belly should be fine if you just wanna replace the ring with a similar one. make sure you clean it so it won't get infected.

  2. keep it clean and leave it in until the full 3 months or you will get it infected like my daughter did.

  3. I changed mine about two months after they did it because it looked healed and fine but after I put the new ring in it wasn't long before I started having trouble with it. I'm not sure if it was from to much cleaning or from the actual changing of the ring but it tore my skin on the inside, I think, and it would never heal. As a last chance thing I tried to put my starter belly ring in (thinking it could had been the metal ) but even this wouldn't heal, and I all together ended up having to take it out all together and now I just have a scar. My advice would be wear the one you have for as long as you can possibly stand it. It would be better that you have wait a little longer then to have something like what happened to me happen. I know everyone is different but the old saying is ' better safe then sorry'.I hope that helps some and that you don't have a similar experience as me. Best of luck!

  4. I left my belly button piercing in for about , umm , 2 1/2 months .. they told me to leave it in for like 4 . !

But it looked fine , no infections , no bruise .. nothing ,

It was fine . So I just changed it and nothing happened . It looked fine. I think that you should be okay to change it if it has no bruise , swelling , infections and it doesn't hurt when you touch it ...

    Good Luck : )

  5. My friend left hers in for about a month before she changed it and it was fine. I got mine pierced about 3 weeks ago and mine isn't healed yet, but basically if it's not red anymore and the skin around the holes isn't crusty or dry, then you are safe to clean it. I think you are okay since it's been 3 months.

  6. well you can change it if you want but its up to you

  7. I left mine in for 2 months , so you should be fine with changing it after 3 months.
