Please help Friend!Sick?!?

Ok i have a friend named Melissa who has 2nephues and 2Neices.Anyhow the Baby Aliyah (2),The oldest son Jason (10),And Sonia (6).They all have blisters on there gums and there gums are red and they seem to have bad fevers.They all went to the doctor and they said it was an infection and virus but never said what type.What could it be?Please tell me so i can tell them,because the poor kids cant even eat!=[

is it foot & mouth disease, herpes, etc???  ask the pediatrician.

Sounds like thrush or a yeast infection of the mouth. Try cream of wheat.  They need some medications.

get them to rinse their mouths with salty water ..not swallow! ;) regularly during a day if helping keep it up .. this will help with the blisters. I have no idea and would want to know if my children. and definitely soft foods bananas (smoothie) or fresh vegies juices; nutritious and easy to digest so leaving more energy for the body to heal.

ask the doctor-in the meantime they can have jello,malts,sherbert all very filling.  did the doctor prescribe topical medications, any kind of anti-fungal,give any special cleansing of the mouth instructions(especially after eating)?

hand, foot and mouth disease? maybe you could call up the doctor's nurse and check what is the name of the infection and how to help the kids feel better.
