Please help?! Internet page trouble.?

Question

okay heres the question. I'm going to try to explain this the best as i can. Okay well you know at the bottom of your internet page when you "hover" over a link it tells you what its going to be. Or when you click on something and it shows your page loading at the bottom..? Well.. mines gone and i dont know how to get it back. Im not sure what i should do to get it back either ? Please help me!

On the menu at the top, click "View", and then click  "Show status bar" or "Status bar". It will come back!
