  1. A good cv should be no more than 3 sides long.  Never lie on a cv.  Don't be tempted into creating a piece of artwork, just legible and concise.

    i. Personal details; you do not have to but your date of birth or relationship status

ii. Summary of career, personal, professional strenghts and weaknesses. A statement which is synopsis of what makes you unique and employable.

iii. Educational achievement from high school/secondary school/college/university - subjects attained

iv. Work history, most recent employer first, with key responsibilities and achievements

    v. General brief statement of interests, driving licence etc.

  2. I had an advisor while studing for my nvq and he told me that my c.v.

should be more than 1 A4 page

only use the normal type face i.e. the uk is times new roman

should be no larger than uk size 12

    should not include a photograph

should be interesting to look at as no employer wants to be looking at the same look c.v. each time but make sure its not over done so maybe add in som boxes

im unaware of any c.v. sites but i am pretty good at spotting and jazzing them up if you want you can ask for my advice at my normal email address bluefan423651@aol.com
