Please help. lexmark printer not working!!!!?

everytime i try to print nothing happens if there was something wrong wouldnt it have an error msg. nothing happens i dont know whats wrong any one who can help please do i really need to print something

Has it worked fine in the past?  Any major changes or software installs since you used it last?   My suggestion is to un-plug the USB connection and then power down the system.   Power the system back up and re-plug in the USB cord.  The system should recognize the printer and hopefully make any changes to put it right again.  You might also consider re-installing the printer driver or check the company website to see if there's an updated version.  This might be a good idea even if the un-plugging idea works.  Good luck!
