Please help me, Bug problem?

Question

Ok, so I got a an air conditioner yesterday, and after putting it in my storm window (which took a long time, let me tell you!) I sealed up any openings i could. Well, just now, I found a HUGE Mosquito (i think its really a hayfly or something like that...), and a GIGANTIC spider. Well, I'm have a horrible bug phobia, and i prolly won't be able to sleep.

anyway, could they have gotten in through the air conditioner? I got this at walmart, if that helps (its the 5052 btu one)

help me!! I cant have these crazy bugs!!

also, the rest of my house doesnt have ac, so could they have gotten in through the rest of the house? I have stuff stuffed under the doors so the cold air doesnt get out.

I assume you had to open the door to get the ac into the house...guessing the box is on the bulky side and you were probably concentrating on carrying the box rather than paying attention to what may fly past you at an open door.....
