Please help me... computer question?

Question

Okay, so everytime I click on the internet explorer symbol, my computer freezes up. BUT my internet connection is working fine. I'm not sure if I accidently did something in the setting to cause this or not. My limewire still works though. I deleted a lot of things afterwards, so I know it's not because of too many files. I really need help with this, my computer is brand new, (bought it last year.)

try Mozilla Firefox

or if you still want to use IE explorer, reinstall  the IE...

I would go to control panel/add remove programs and go to explorer and hit repair. That might help.

roxy!!___ with the deleting, gets us in trouble everytime huh!-ok lets go to start >accessories >system tools >restore and back it up to the time before we DELETED everything  -this is for XP ...hope it helps   miktill

Well most of pc problems today is  spyware adaware and viruses.In this case,unless you have good antivirus ,firewall and antispyware on your pc,its possible you have picked up one or all of what i mentioned.Most of the problems I fixed on computers is the result of all or one of the above.I suggested either getting an updated virus scanner,spyware remover and see if its the problems.The other solution is to restore your computer back to a former state before this happened..I would also suggest you dont download off of limewire since its illegal and most files are virus infected.My opinion.

you mite have modified something in the windows folder you mite have to reload your computer dont reload it until you check a professional

lime wire probley messed it up with a virus yo you should take it to geek squad to identify it.

Go to www.microsoft.com and to downloads and reinstall the IE.  Very easy, just follow the steps.
