  1. The Salvation Army offer a tracing service for lost family members. Details are on the following website: www1.salvationarmy.org.uk   Have you tried talking to your dad for info re where his 'ex' (the mum) came from as she may have returned to that area for family and friends support in bringing up your brother? You might then be able to look up local schools on 'Friends Reunited' and see if he is listed there. The previous advice re getting a copy of his birth cert will help. These can be ordered on this website: gov-certificates.co.uk

You may want to go through the Sally Army though as they are experienced in reuniting family members (long-lost or unknown). Can you imagine the shock if someone contacted you 'out of the blue' and said they are your long lost half brother and you had no idea that they existed?

I wish you every success in finding him.

  2. Salvation army.

    Social services?

  3. Try using some proper English and grammar.  Your question is full of misspelled words, improper sentence structures, no capital letters where required, no periods where required, and uses some Ebonics.  All of this makes you seem really, really ignorant and uneducated.  I am sure that is not the impression you want to send out to people about yourself.  If this is how you write, spell, and talk all the time, it will not get you anywhere in life but on public assistance unless you can manage to get a job flipping burgers at McDonalds.

  4. If you don't have any success at trying UK Missing persons, or the Salvation Army sites. Then it may be worth having a go at looking on http://www.192.com/ for your Mums name. If your brother is still living at home with your Mum then he will show up under your Mums name as living at that address.

I don't usually comment on other peoples remarks, but please do not be put off coming to the Genealogy section because of rude people commenting on your grammar. She will soon have to put up with that permanently from the UK, as the the spelling and grammar powers that be are introducing spell as you speak soon in the UK.

  5. Contact the register office where he was born.

Go in person, give them his name, approx date of birth and his mothers name. It should cost about £7.

If and when you find him-go slowly, he may not know you exist.

    Good Luck

ps Try to write a bit clearer in the future, it does not give a good impression when you write like you have done.
