I was on my computer, watching youtube.com videos, and then i decided to play world of warcraft, this is not the problem. As i turn it on, my computer jumps to a black screen, however, my question isnt concerning the black screen either. So i turn off my computer, and turn it back on, and now i hear this wierd noise like "Doo eh-wee doo eh-wee doo eh-wee" or like "duneh-wee dun eh-wee dun eh-wee" something around those two. Then on the two load up screens, it says " Pri master/slave not found, Sec master/slave not found, next page it says, "Boot record CD rom, Floppy, Failed" and it continues to keep saying that and the noise continues periodically!!! what is wrong with my computer?? Someone PLEASE help!

  1. Well the game you played might of been a virus and got into your computer and maybe crashed it.

be careful what website you go on!

  2. Please try a System Restore before you do anything more intrusive. Simply go to the start tab, then "all programs"...then Accessories...then system tools...then system restore. Set the restore point to a time and date before you encountered the problem and restore. This should take care of your problem...

  3. check your bios settings

    then if that doesn't help

open the computer and plug the hard drive back in.

  4. The Master Slave statements are referring to IDE setup.  It sounds like the machine is having trouble finding the bootable hard disk drive.  You might just try turning it off and trying again.  Check to see if you have a disk in the floppy drive slot - take it out if there is one in there before you reboot the machine.  And take out any CD's too.

  5. Your computer is F'ed up! You need to put in your windows installation CD and when you turn on your computer, press F8 and select boot from CD. After that, delete the partition that has windows and reformatt the space and then install windows again. You will lose anything that you have on your computer. You will also need to download the drivers. Some computers come with a CD with the drivers on it and you can just install that. Good luck.

  6. i think one of the parts got messed up cuz i had a similer problem b for so ul probbly have to take it to a computer repair shop or somthing

  7. Sounds to me like your hard drive has failed.  It is most likely not related to anything you did, they fail all the time.  The reason it starts doing things like looking for boot records from the CD Rom and floppy, is because it cant find Windows in the default location, as in, your Hard Drive.  Best take it in and get a professional to get all your data off teh hard drive and buy a new one.
