  1. If you have only had her for 3 days does she know how to get her water?  If hamsters are dehydrated they also stop eating.  And because she is young she might not know how to use a water bottle.  Do you have a dish of open water in her cage?  Try putting some water on a spoon or something and putting it right in front of her face to see if she will drink it.  If she becomes interested in the water once she realizes that is what it is, lead her to the water bottle or dish of water.

    I once had a hedgehog who couldn't figure out the water bottle. I had to have a dish in there forever otherwise he would just not drink.  Hopefully this helps.

  2. Maybe she is homesick. for the first month you have it ,try getting the same food and bedding it had before. Also take it to the vet

  3. Get dri tail your hamster might have wet tail. Hurry!

    For more information on wet tail go to....

  4. Firstly;

    If the vet surgery doesn't seem to be doing anything try emailing a specialist online. Type in 'hamster help' or something similar on google & browse the answers.

    If this doesn't work take the hamster to the pet store where you got her, and they should be able to help.

    Finally, if her condition gets worse and there's really not much else you can do actually take her to the vets. Don't call, just get her there, and hopefully they should sort her out.

    Good luck. I'll be thinking of you. Tell me how it goes.

  5. id phone a relative who maybe understands more about the hamsters needs rather than your mum.

    maybe they could take your hamster to the vets, because if your hamster isnt eating or drinking it needs to be seen to a.s.a.p

    hope this helps.
