Please help with a hat situation!??!

if people see you wearing a cool hat and cool clothes, even though its not even sunny, do people just think you just want to look cool or does it look stupid? and do girls like guys that where hats?

Since this is in the mental health section, I will suggest there might be an issue with

Heliophobia: the fear of sunlight.  

I know someone with this disorder and he has to have every part of his skin covered and does wear hats year round.  He also has black-out fabric on the windows and his apartment looks like a cave.  Yes, it does look stupid and at the same time I feel sad for him.  He is a nice man with a very big problem.

If you are asking about all the heavy clothes some teens tend to wear, as an adult I see it as a tad odd in 90 degree weather but I do see teen girls flock to it.
