Please help- working in Australia?

my brother is a bricklayer but in the UK there is no work due to the retention of house prices. I have been told that there is work in australia, does anyone know if this is true?

if you look in the news it might be just as hard for him to get a job out here.   Beechwood homes have just collapsed, and the building industry is slowing.  Just look in the papers for the jobs before he makes a decision

Yes plenty of work for tradies there are a lot of aussie companies sponsoring under a visa schemm some using it to abuse the paying public and non english speaking workers by ripping them off but not to many bring him over we need the drop in house prices more labour will bring.
