Please hurry!!!! help!!!?

Question

it's my mom's birthday in 2 days and i want to MAKE a present for her. i want it to be special and not just a card. I've already made a bunch of flowers, pop- up cards, a cell phone chain for her previous BDs.

So any ideas? and also tell me how can i make it......

and no cooking nor baking... i suck

I was just looking in a magazine and saw a jar full of sand with a few shells on the top.  it then had a ribbon tied around the lid.  If you live anywhere near a beach, the only expense would be for the jar and ribbon.

Part of the problem with making stuff is you need to buy the equipment for it, which winds up being really expensive.  Making jewelry is fun - Wal-Mart (or especially Michaels if you have one close) has some beautiful stones and clasps.  You could make a necklace and a pair of matching earrings.  Simple is best - don't get too gaudy with it.  

Another idea is make a DVD picture slideshow for her.  Everybody I've given this to LOVES it.  I actually own a business putting these together, but your time doesn't allow for that.  Get about 30-40 digital prints, lay them in there, and a lay a heartfelt song along with it.  Windows Movie Maker has this option (it's probably on your computer), just don't get click happy because it will crash.  You can also download free trial versions of better software that will do this - look at Sony Vegas, Roxio, and Ulead.  

You could make her a small "book" of the wonderful memories you have of her.

You could make her a relax basket - bottle of wine, books from a used book store and some bubble bath or floating rose petals.

Good luck!  Homemade things are the best gifts - as they take time and consideration.

Since you've made flowers, what about finding a small pillow and sewing artificial flowers onto it? Or perhaps you could even make a few sachets that she can put on or in her dresser to make things smell nice.

Make her a charm bracelet with charms that are meaningful to her.  Hobby Lobby has a lot of free instructions or crafts.com.

Buy a nice multiple picture frame. Choose some of your favorite pics of you and her or of yourself . If you have some good digital ones put them on a disc or sd card and go print them out @ a drug store or wal-mart. You can do them in black and while and it looks very classy and artistic. Fast , easy and cheap and a nice keepsake for your Mom.
