Please interperit this dream!?

Question

For some reason, I was sitting in a bright, tan- colored church. Mass was in session, and for some reason that I do not know, my Mom brought a yippy dog right into mass. Some guy complained in a whisper. Anyways, that's all I remember of that part. Then, I walked down a hall and a staircase, walking through the inside of the summer day camp I used to go to. Again it was bright, except this time it was once I entered a classroom, colored green, purple and red. I saw one of my acquaintances at my high school previously and that she had gained a lot of weight. I then walked outside and saw the setting of an old townhouse complex I used to live in. There was an outdoor shower out in the open I used where everyone could see me showering. My history teacher from last school year, whom I really admired for his knowledge, came and said something to someone standing at the door to the church/day camp and laughed. Strange, huh?

The church sounds pleasant enough, but predictable.  You Mom is not a person that deals well with "predictable".  Dogs usually represent tradition (like, you can't teach an old dog new tricks).  So, your Mom, tired of "same-o, same-o" brings in a NEW DOG!  So, you know the old dogs are going to complain. I bet your Mom makes waves WHEREVER she goes!  

(Tell your Mom, for me, that you cannot put new wine in old wine skins.  It breaks, the old skins, and you spill the new wine.  EVERYBODY gets hurt.)  If she wants "new wine," spiritually, she's going to have to attend a less traditional church.  (Personal experience, ok?)

You decide to take a walk down memory lane, to spiritual experiences of your past.  Your classmate, like so many, change so much spiritually through the years.  Sometimes, this is good.  Other times, it is not.  Many youth are not into God. They think He is nothing but rules and traditions.  However, those who truly long to know Him find out otherwise.  Others get excited about God while young (mainly due to youth group energy!) but then later, lose their zeal.  

The shower represent spiritual cleansing and refreshing.  This is wonderful, and I'm glad you want to make yourself transparent before God and receive what He wants to do in your life!

Pray for wisdom about how much of this spiritual process to make public.  Many times, your example will prompt others to seek the same for themselves.  Other times, it only opens us up to ridicule.  I won't try to speculate why your history teacher laughed right now.  Perhaps if it is important, future dreams will bring out whatever is needed.

Pray for wisdom as to where you and/or your family needs to be to grow in grace and faith as God leads you closer to Him.
