Plz help...?

Question

Ok...so i have an LG EnV and i didnt know how to get my pictures from my phone onto my computer, and i finally figured out that i can email them to me... but when i download them off of the email and i want to add them to my my myspace or facebook it says i cant! why? and can u help me fix this?

I have that phone and email photos to myself, saved them to my computer, and then put on a facebook page with no problem.  Since they're such low quality pictures, I spruce them up a little in Photoshop, but that shouldn't make any difference.  I'd like to help, but I can't be sure what it is that you're doing wrong.  Did you download them to your computer first, then put them on your Facebook page?  Or did you try to detach them directly from the email to Facebook?  You don't gave any details, so I can only suggest that you have to save the photo attachments to you computer first.  I would make a folder just for Facebook pictures. Do that and save your email attachments to there.  Other than that suggestion I don't know what the problem could be.  Can you give any more details?

You HAVE to ALWAYS pay attention to where you save things.  I prefer to keep things organized, depending on what I'm using the images for, in folders. That way there's never any question where things are.

what type of file are you saving it to your computer as?

If you're "downloading it" are you able to open it to your computer? You have to hit save if the box comes up. Make sure you know where you're saving it too... either your pictures folder or desktop just to be sure you can find it.

Another thing you can do, if the picture comes up in the e-mail without having to open the attachment, just right click the picture and select "save image as" and it may be easier to save the picture.
