plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Tell me the difference of condensation and evaporation with the headiing of which difference like:

Rate of evaporation,definitions etc etc plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz help me iam in danger.

    Condensation is when gas molecules collect on a surface and turn into liquid (such as when the steam from a hot shower causes the bathroom mirror to get wet).

    Evaporation is just the opposite: when a liquid turns into gas (such as when everything that gets wet after it rains will eventually become dry).

    The rate of evaporation is simply how quickly something evaporates.  The rate can be increased if you increase the surface area over which the liquid is distributed.  For instance, a cup of water can evaporate, but it will take a very long time (perhaps several years, depending on the local climate).  On the other hand, if you take that same volume of water and pour it on the floor (increasing the surface area), it will evaporate much quicker (perhaps just a few hours or less).
