Pointless Questions?

Why do most of the questions asked on Y!A seem more like pointless questions asked more out of boredom than any actual desire to learn?

yes, I will always ask my friends pointless questions like "Why did you wear that today?" and other questions like that

Some people just want to feel involved. And the pointless questions do occasionally produce witty answers. The people who whine about rules (I don't mean you B.C.) need to lighten up a bit. We're not at university here.

Some are pointless, but  I find it to be a little entertaining too.

I like it better than chat rooms....
