Pokemon friend code?

how do i get my friendcode and whats is it for exactly

Once you get the Pal Pad key item, you'll have a friend code. I think if you just go downstairs in the pokemon center they'll give you one. You give your friend code to a friend of yours or someone you want to trade/battle with and they give you theirs.

You then go downstairs in the pokemon center and talk to one of the ladies (you must have Wifi acess). You will then have acess to all of your friends (assuming they are all online).

you need a pla pad that is in your bag in key items. then go to it and click on your friend code. it shuould say it there. it's so you can get other people's codes so you can trade and battle each other on wifi. if you need mroe help go to nintendo.com and gamefaqs.com
