Pokemon pearl contest help???

i have just started my pokemon pearl again and im concentrating on contests, i was wondering if any one can give me tips for what pokemon to have and what moves to have???

You should have all kinds of move but they should have a lot of style and diffrent stars

you should have moves that are strong and have the same type of moves such as all the types are cool types or they have most of the attacks are the same type.

I'd first beat at least 5 gyms to get some accessories to use from friends(Mom, Cynthia, etc.) and collect berries and trade them in at the berry shop in Floraroma Town to get more accessories. The accessories are usually 20 to 50 berries worth to buy so grow a lot of berries. You can get the Water Pail (I'm not sure what its called) by talking to one of the people in the accessory shop. Water your berries often to increase the yield of berries. You can also talk to the Berry Master (where you can buy Mulch (also good for berry plants)) and he'll give you like 1-3 berries a day. The berry master is basically like the one in E/R/S without the woman who you have to answer the question. In D/P you don't have the woman. Start collecting!
