Polk RTi A9 Speakers?

Hi, i'm thinking about setting up some Polk RTi A9 speakers, but I don't know if there really worth all the money they cost. If there are alternatives, what would you recommend ( i don't want bose, they are cheap)?

For the same price you can get the Definitive Technology BP7004. Def Tech makes fantastic speakers for the money.

You can also look at Klipsch, Boston Acoustics, Paradigm. Look at the higher end stores for speakers. The Magnolia at BestBuy carries some good stuff. They have Definitive, Martin logan, Klipsch.

The polk are not bad speakers.

I like Def Tech though. I would spend my 1500 bucks on them hands down.

It is really up to you though. I would recommend you audition no less than 4 or 5 sets of speakers, then make your decision.
