Pools and Balls?

Everytime my friends and family are over and we play volleyball or basketball in the pool the ball always ends up outside of the pool. We go get it and we get back in but the grass on our feet stay on our feet and get deposited in the pool. This happened so much I had to dump my pools water because it was dark green. How can I prevent that this summer?

Have a ball-washer bucket and a tube of water for people to wash their feet before getting back into the pool. That's what we had when I was a kid.

keep a water hose near by to spray off with before getting back in

Have some sandals readily available at the side of the pool. This should solve your problem.
