Popping.. Solaire 30"

Question

The infrared burner(s) on my grill  will only run for a few minutes, then make a verrrryy loud pop and then begin to burn cooler, (no red anymore) with a large flame coming out of the ceramic.. also can hear the sound of rushing air.... turning off and restarting works for a couple of minutes.. the hotter they are, the worse the problem.... Rasmussen has not responded to repeated requests for help on this...
