I'm looking for a list of popular boys' names in IRELAND in the year 1894. I'm having trouble finding them, so any help would be appreciated.

  6. This is according to the 1920 US Census - There were 1,504 males living in NY, born Ireland in 1894 and there were:

    233 named John

    162 named Patrick

    141 named Thomas

    130 named James

    117 named Michael

  7. The oldest census available to the general public for Ireland is the 1911 Dublin census heres a link

    Its not quite 1894 but alot of boys were named for their fathers/ uncles then so the names are pretty much the same. Lots of John's, Edwards and Josephs and Thomas.
