Portable Crib or Play pen??

Question

My son is one year old. Is a play pen/ pack and play ok for him to sleep in if he stays overnight somewhere?? Or should I buy a portable crib?? What do you do when your child sleeps overnight anywhere?? Should I go for the play pen or the portable crib?? Thanks a bunch!!!

Play pen!  We use on everytime we stay at the parent house! but at 9 mos she learned how to get out of it!  so if he is climber than go with a portable crib! good luck

pack and play it is fine and flods up so nice

We always used the playpen and it worked just fine... until they started climbing out of them.

definitely a play pen/ pack and play if you already have one. no need to buy a portable crib especially if your son is already one.

The pack and play will work fine. I take mine on all our trips for our 17 mo. old. As a matter of fact we actually used his pack and play as his bed until he was a year old. He has a crib now but we still use the pack and play on trips.
