Portable DVD Problem?

My Hitachi portable Dvd player (PDV313) won't play dvds anymore. It comes up on the screen 'No Disc', even though there is a dvd in it. The dvd aren't scratched and they work in other dvd players.

through out the DVD player and buy a new one, all the DVD players,   once it got repaired , it will again bang you with other problems. for buying i suggest the following one which gives you at low cost rate and high quality branded

If you can hear the disc spinning in the player then it sounds like the lens might just be dirty. Buy a lens cleaner and run it.

Edit: It's a cheap way to find out if the problem is fixable, at least. If you clean the lens and it still won't read then you have a software or hardware problem that would probably cost as much as the player to fix.
