Question:

Portfolio view oddities?

I've defined my own Portfolio View at Y! Finance. There are three things that are not behaving well. If anyone has a fix or workaround for them, please let me know:

1) My view has a column for the Estimated EPS for the current year. EPS is normally displayed as dollars & cents. Instead I'm getting numbers containing 2 decimal points. For example, the Estimated EPS for Alcoa is: 3.033.03

2) My view has a column for P/E estimate for the current year. The data in this column displays correctly, but the column header is blank.

3) The view has a link at the bottom that says "Download Spreadsheet." But clicking on this does not download the data in the current view. It always downloads the same columns, regardless of what view is selected.

Probably these are just bugs. Aren't they?

  1. Yes, those are just bugs.   I logged in as another user and was able to get around some of the decimal problems.

If you get rid of yoru yahoo mail Beta it seems to also help out with a lot of the Yahoo Finance Problems.

The old Yahoo Finance was a single server system, and the downloads worked fine. Now there are several feeds that abstruct the downloading process.
