Ports lucky wins...?

Port has had 2 close wins in the last 2mins or so . do you think they will win the next close ?

Port adelaide have had an easy run - funnily enough mark williams invites the umpires to the club and since then they have received more frees than anyone else! Port won't do much in the finals, even die-hards know they are lucky to be as high up on the ladder, then again its been a soft year in terms of talent apart from Geelong. Anyone can win the flag on their day. The biggest threat is Adelaide. They have had enormous injury problems and their players who havent played alot of football are rested. While other teams have had their good players play all year, they would no doubt be tired and carrying niggling injuries, Adelaide is just coming good - doesnt help that they have received fewer free kicks than anyone else and with big name players hitting their straps and fresh - they could be the ones to upset geelong who are just the most balanced side in the competition in all key areas.

depends who its against, against colingwood, no chance lol na but really i think that theyve had enough luck so there luck has to run out in the end i guess

I guess the odds are they have to lose a close one, but that doesn't mean anything. You could argue they were lucky, but they were still within a goal and had the ball in their forward line late in the match, so maybe they just handle pressure a bit better. This augers well for them in the finals. Although I hate to say it, I think only Port, Geelong and WCE have any show of winning the GF.
