Possible names for our new baby ?

My fiancee and I are expecting in April, we don't know if its a boy or girl yet, we won't find out for a few weeks now, but i just wanted thoughts on our possible names

If its a boy we were thinking

Wyatt Keith

Carson Lee

If its a girl

Peyton Mae

Lexus (haven't picked a middle for this one yet)

Lexus Renee and your husbands last name is nice too!

Renee means reborn so it flows well with being named after your Grandmother.

i hope you are getting married soon and not just going to live together and say you are getting married but never do it.

it seems how many people get pregnant and are suddenly engaged but no one sets a wedding date or plans any kind of ceremony??

just sounds phony to me like so many celebs having babies out of wed lock but not getting married.

I love Lexus. I don't know what a good middle name would be, maybe Lexus Anne. But she could go by Lexi in school and Lexus would be nice for a professional name when she's older. And I like Wyatt Keith, it's a really unique name.

Carson Lee sounds a bit bland in that combination. I think Carson with a different middle might be more interesting.

For a girl I think Alexis with the nickname "Lexus" would be cute. Otherwise it reminds me of the car...and I can't picture an adult woman with that name.

There is also Alexa, Lexa, or if you absolultely must at least spell it Lexis.

Peyton would get lost in this surname craze I think.

Wyatt Keith is great.  I love it.  I think Carson Lee could go for either a boy or a girl.  Carson Leigh perhaps for a girl.  Peyton Mae is also cute.  I'm not thrilled with Lexus.  That's a car, not a kid.

I like everything but Lexus -- as it's the make of a car, I can see high school aged boys saying this like "Oh, that girl Lexus is fast!" or "Did you take Lexus out for a test drive?" or "How's Lexus ride?"

For these reasons I wouldn't use that name -- but I think all your other options are perfectly lovely.

I would strongly advise against the name Lexus. Personally I think it's tacky to name your baby after things you don't have (and no one who owns a Lexus would name their baby after their car). I know of someone who named their baby Bentley and I just cringe every time I hear her name. Poor child... Peyton is much nicer, more tasteful and classier. Mae I think is a charming middle name. It's "vintage" and old enough where it can be used wothout everyone thinking of their grandmothers.

Wyatt and Carson, I love the old west theme! I live in New Mexico and so I'm getting into the old west charm. Both of those names have it. Carson is a little more common, I'm hearding that one a lot recently. I know you didn't list it but What about Wyatt Lee? That one would get my vote!

Again, please don't name your baby Lexus. Alexis, Alexa, even Lexia those are fine, but not Lexus, please!

Your options for a boy are OK. I really don't like Lexus or Peyton. Alexis might be an option for you that sounds similar but is a little more feminine. Personally I'd steer clear of gender-neutral names like Peyton, Blake, Leigh, etc.

I like Lexus, but what about Alexis or Alexa. They sound more sophisticated. Peyton is a new trend and isn't very pretty. I like names more like Rosalie and Emmeline and Genieve and Amelia. Your boy names are good.
