Possible to overdose on benzos

Question

i have read a lot of articles that say that is unlikely to overdose on benzodiazepines. but is it possible by taking a MASSIVE amount?

im talking about taking 200mg xanax 200mg valium 200mg ativan 200mg benadryl(not a benzo) some alcohol

IM NOT SUICIDAL, IM A F*CKING CURIOUS GUY, plus i would never commit suicide like that, i would just blast my freakin head with a shotgun or something (be cool, i wont do it!!!)

The most I've ever taken is probably about 90mg of Xanax or 60mg of Klonopin, never with booze.

Most likely if you took all of those benzo's you'd probably fall asleep very quickly for a long time.  If you quickly drank too much liquor it may result in you vomiting in your sleep like a few rock stars have done in the past.

EDIT: TO THE ANSWER ABOVE ME XANAX COMES IN A MAX DOSE OF 2MG, GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT.

Your liver MIGHT get damaged at the same time.

Personally, I doubt you'd die OR get any pleasure from it.

You can overdose on any kind of drug or even alcohol. People have overdosed on Tylenol and aspirin. So, yes it's possible. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist and make sure it is ok to take so many of those pills together.

You can OD any water with enough of it.  Your body is not a chemistry experimant...don't push your luck

Yes it is very possible that you can od on benzos. Some ppl end up trying to commit suiside like that and then have to get their stomach pumped and end up on the psyc ward. But yes, benzos are dangerous if taken in high enough doses.

You take over a certain amount,you just go to sleep wherever you are and wake up stiff and sore from not having moved at all while you were asleep. Not much to be curious about there. In fact, pretty BORING.

There are LOTS of much more interesting things to experience, if you're just curious.

Yeah, I'd say that it's certainly possible to overdose taking that much of anything.  Even after taking like four xanax I am a zombie, I'd think there would be huge psychological ramifications from something like that- mainly you'd be mentally challenged for the rest of your life.  And good choice with blasting your head off, not that I think you should at all, but that's the easiest way to do it, if you don't have any respect for the clean-up crew...:)
