Post office jobs....?

Question

okay so I called the post office for a job opening for front desk (not mail carrier) and the lady said id have to take a test and if I pass with a 90% or higher that would determine whether I get the job or not. I know you have to pay a fee and the money will be returned if you don't get called for an interview. the question is what is that exam based on? (im assuming itd obviously about how street smart you are or something) and if its easy to get a position there?

That is a scam. The company running that is charging you for study materials which you can obtain for free, at the library. As to whether or not the post office is hiring in your area, you can just go to this website to see if in fact, they are, and which jobs they're hiring for. http://www.usps.com/employment/search-jo...
