Power problem!?

I saw a commercial on nc green power at my grandmas house. I went to their website and went to the sign up page. I was able to fill all that out except the acount number, company name, and the block thing. What is a block. It says that they are blocks of power. I don't understand what any of those things are! Their site appears to be set up such that you can make a tax deductible contibution by credit card or buy green power through your local utility.

You cannot buy blocks of power (specific kiloWatt-hours of electricity) directly from them.  I would recommend contacting your local utility and inquiring about their green power programs.  You can check the list of participating utilities on their website to see if your local electricity provider is a participant.
