  1. Well Powerlifting has more to do with strength, not that Olympic lifting doesn't, but Olympic lifting involves a bigger emphasis on form.

The pros of powerlifting is that you'll be stronger but you wont be in the olympics doing powerlifting, although I think they should have it I mean michael phelps gets 8 chances in just swimming. Why not the most important title deciding sport at the Olympics? The Worlds strongest man should be able to win more golds than the worlds fastest swimmer. You know what I mean? It just makes more sense, clearly.

  2. Powerlifting is in the Paralympics (which start on September 5th) so you will be able to compare them both.

  3. Power lifting is basically three things, Bench press squats and dead lifts. there is more, but those are the main things. Olympic lifting is the snatch and snatch and clean I believe. Olympic lifting has to do more with technique than raw power, as it is a combination of two or more movements for the snatch and clean for example it is the dead lift, power clean and shoulder press, while power lifting movements are single movements, which means it has to do more with raw power and less with coordination and technique.
