We have signed Colgan Meyler Diouf Cisse Healy Tainio Malbranque and Chimbonda. Apart from Meyler and Colgan and possible Healy theses are all very good footballers. Cisse i think will link well with Jones when he returns. Anton Ferdinand is also supposed to be on his way. how do you think we will do this season? also who do you think is our best signing? and what do you make of our signings?

  1. Top ten finish this season.

  2. Just need a centre back and a left back(ferdinand)then it looks good,

get jones back up front with cisse .I think malbranque is awesome,

and who knows what cisse will bring to the team. The futures bright,

    its red and white.

    12th

  3. they'll do well

as i feel theres more to come from them

the ones who came up 2 of those will go down

  4. 14th

  5. sunderland will not progress through the next round of the carling cup

  6. Those signings are really good, Cisse i'd say although a little eratic at times he has the most quality out of them all. Sunderland could spring a real surprise top 6 perhaps, i'll go for 7th though!!!

  7. I think they'll finish mid table, if they manage to pick up a few more wins away from home than they did last season. Cisse is the most crucial signing IMO, cos they seemed to lack a cutting edge up front vs Liverpool (well don't most teams :P). But with Jones out they really needed another striker. Not sure how Diouf and Cisse will play together though, maybe Keane plans to use Cisses pace in a 4-5-1.

  8. The signings were good...alot better than last season and you's done ok.... these signings bring in alot of quality and experience i would expect you's to finish from 12th upwards in my opinion

  9. I think sunderland have made some big signings and expect them to finish in the top half this season. As far as best signing I think it will be cisse as he has an eye for goal...take today for example.

  10. i am a middlesbrough fan but would like sunderland to do well this season apart from when they play boro lol i reckon they will finish about 11th. had a good chance against liverpool btw should have won in my opinion, liverpool played too poor to be a top of the league team

  11. sunderland won't have to worry too much with their incredibly strong squad compared to last season. home matches at the stadium of light will be as vital as last season though, although i think they'll be capable of picking up a fair share of points away from home this season as well. shouldn't change too much of the squad now though should cool down a bit. besides, look at how many teams look weaker than them - hull, stoke, WBA, wigan, fulham

  12. Learn to play football and start scoring would be lovely. Why do lads talk so much bull about footie? got nothing interesting to talk about. Anyway we'll forgive you anything if you thrash the a*se off the toon

  13. 12th -----14th...........

  14. gud ridants anton! and i think u will finish 11th

  15. I think that they would do better this season from the 1st match we can tell, right?

The position is 13th this season.

  16. I have supported sunderland since I was 11 and I have never in all that time been as optimistic as I am today.

The signings are great ,the manager is great, the chairman is great, the fans are great, the stadium is great...need I go on...

ferdinand in this week ,then a left back, evans will come here in Jan from Man.Utd...........Oh life is great....away the mackems.........
