Question:

Pregnant and fight! Please help!?

So I am 36 1/2 weeks pregnant. A huge fight broke out earlier this evening involving my mother, fiancee, and a neighbor lady. When I said fight I mean fist fight. I wasn't involved but once I saw the neighbor swing at my mom, I lost it. Adrenaline right. Anyways. I was so worked up I was screaming at the top of my lungs and running around like a crazy lady. Shortly after that I felt pain in my stomach (thinking contractions). After I calmed down a little, I felt a little wet. Thinking my water maybe popped just a tad to where I am leaking a very little amount. I went to the bathroom, I was a little wet. Ive put a pad on and will check it in a little bit. I'm still having pains in my stomach but not as bad. Do you think me getting so worked up can put me into labor? Please any advise. Thank you in advance.

p.s. sorry if the story didn't seem real relevant...

  1. Me and my husband got in a huge argument when I was pregnant with our first son.  I got real worked up and like 5 minutes later my water broke.  So I definitely think it can happen like that.

  2. I have heard of women who have gone into labour due to stress.  I would lay done, relax and keep an eye on it.

  3. I think it may have put you in labor.

Sounds like it from all you've mentioned.

Baby got all excitied like you and now ready.

    hahaha.

Good luck, and you might want to get checked at a hospital.:)

  4. LOL you just might have done it sometimes we get our motors runnin and out pop babies LOL if your wet in a bit I'd go to the hospital Good luck and try not to get into any more fights LOL j/k (I would have done the same thing in your shoes!!) Congrats!!

  5. Sounds like your water may have broken. This will sound weird, but smell it. If it has a sickeningly sweet smell and is clear, that's amniotic fluid. Call your doctor for more advice if that's the case. He will probably tell you to stay home until you are in more active labour.

  6. yes any signs of stress cud bring on labour if ur pain asnt gone away or gets bad within n hour id recommend on going to da docs

  7. well it is possible. if you continue to have wetness on your pad , it wouldn't be a bad idea to call your dr, labor and delivery and see what they recommend good luck to you and try to stay calm!!  getting that upset is not good for you or your baby.

  8. It sounds like you might have gone into labor :) Go to the hospital just to check :D
