Question:

Pregnant-due anyday-should I apply?

I am currently unemployed and I am due with my first child anyday. There are a great deal of jobs that I would like to apply to, but I feel wierd applying since I cannot start right away. Is it worth it to apply to these jobs or should I just wait until I am ready to go back to work? In this bad economy I hate to let these jobs slip by without trying, but on the other hand I would hate to ruin my chances of getting one.

Thanks!

  1. Yes apply, most jobs take at least a month a so to start...

  2. SInce your due anytime, its wise to wait until you give birth and spend mommy time with the baby. If you were like 4 months, then it would be optional but alot of employers will hesitate to hire a pregnant woman although it is illegal. Also, an employer will not want to hire you because you will be on Maternity Leave superfast, so they will still be in the same situation. Its best to wait it out since your due so soon..Congrats and enjoy the new addition;)

  3. I know I am a mom of 4 beautiful children and it is very hard to work and be a mom at the same time. Luckly, I found this amazing company called Mom's Want More and I would love for you to go check it out. I know it has helped me!

I think  that this might be worth you checking into. I  just got started and Iam really excited about it! The next step would be for you  to be apart of a webcast to talk about this business. It is really cool! You just need a home computer and you can be apart of this live meeting.

  4. Wait - it is going to be awhile before you can start work after having a baby.  If someone is advertising a position, they probably want someone to start in the near future.  Enjoy your baby before you hurry back to work.

  5. I think you should wait a little while and spend some time with your new baby!  Congratulations, by the way!

  6. It would be better to wait until you can actually go to work.  Take this time to enjoy your baby, you'll be back at work soon and will miss that little bundle!
