Premier League Rundown
The Premier League action took place on Tuesday night, attracting immense attraction   and energy. Although  the kick –off
was scheduled for Saturday, yet the change of day did not affect the activity and the spirits were  extremely high as two matches were played .Although headlines were beaming with news about the clash of two  ferocious City rivals at Manchester Stadium, but
sufficient amount of action  was occurring elsewhere in the league.

Sunderland tamed Tottenham Hotspurs with a disappointing draw as the latter wasted too much ground in their encounter.Furthermore, Stoke
City trounced Birmingham 3-2 in a breathtaking clash. Additionally the most recent and costly signing headed towards Sunderland’s way as they managed to earn a point against a team, aiming on European objectives.

The outcome was such that in only two matches, the Ghanaian scored his third goal to assure his side to a well earned triumph against Harry
Redknapp’s Tottenham Hotspurs. All h**l broke loose, in the 67th minute, when a strategic folly between Billy Galas and Younas Kaboul    permitted a through ball from Danny
Wellbeck to Gyan, who scored easily from that range.

Just few minutes earlier in the game, the vibrant Rafael Van Der Vaart managed to score a goal, giving his side a lead. The Dutchman has
carried on his great form in all of Tottenham’s six home games this season. It was Gareth Bale, who drafted a fine cross to Peter Crouch, who in turn directed it to Van Der Vaart, allowing him to fire a precision shot in the net. Nevertheless Tottenham Hotspurs
failed to triumph, regardless of all their control and dominance over the ball. In the end it was Gyan’s equalizer, which was the final nail in the coffin.

Just a week ago, Tottenham Hotspur’s managed to defeat the European Champions at white Hart Lane. Nonetheless everything has gone astray
for Harry Redknapp since that great triumph. He has not been able to repeat his teams European form locally, causing them to wither away in the mid-table.

Although, last night Tottenham Hotspurs managed a promising start, but could not by-pass Sunderland’s defenses. This minimized their maneuverability,
forcing them to take long shots. Sunderland’s Craig Gorden took over the goal keeping, returning from a broken arm injury. He did justice to his selection with some eye catching keeping and athleticicsm. The injured pair of Aaron Lennon and David Bentley was
certainly being missed, as the Hotspurs were all out of fire power and creative play.

The encounter between Stoke and Birmingham was a much more eye catching The game between Stoke and Birmingham was a much more thrilling
event, as both the sidesr scuffled for the ball. But it was Danny Whitehead who broke through the defenses and produced an awe inspiring winner, late in the game
