As we know now Manchester city have been bought by 1 of the richest families in the world. That's not rite. I'm sick of wealthy owners coming and buying football teams in the premiership. It happend to Chelsea look what happend but its sick! Does not happen to Manchester United in fact we got bought and lost Millions! I think there should be on this! City are going from "Rags to Riches". It is unfair on opposing fans and the staff who work for manchester city are mostly going to get fired. Look at Sparky "mark hughes" he probobly gonna get the chop and many of the manchester city players will be getting rid of. If this continues i think football teams should go on strike. Not because of jelousy but because its just apporling.

  1. This is the natural progression of sport.  Money and exposure dominate pro sports and that's just the way it is.  The fans can not and should not regulate the way that a team is run.  Unless the fans own the team.  They can stop watching and going to the games, or make their voice heard in some other way.

What we can concentrate on, is the play on the field, which in my opinion, is as good as ever.

Unfair?  Maybe.  But big business ventures do not stay the same or regress back to an old era.  They only get bigger.

  2. It's a case of do as the other clubs do or you don't have a chance.

I wasn't happy at Villa getting taken over but to be honest it's working out quite well so far.

Things have gone too far - prices and wages are too high. The bubble will burst and we'll be back to football again - I hope.

  3. Teenager.

The Glazer's buying Manchester United is no different than what Abromovich did with Chelsea.

Were living in a global economy and I suggest you get used to it. Your EPL is officially the Barclays Premier League. An international corporation worth millions of dollars.

Why should it be any diff. for the individual clubs themselves?

Besides, if your not  a "rich family" then how can you buy a football club?

  4. That's business unfortunately! is it the owners hobey like chelsea and there own personal bank of Abramovich or a business to make money? I don't think city will ever be in the same league as utd ? but I thought that about Chelsea and Arsenal who knows maybe Everton will be next?

I would love the Liverpool owners to take a running jump and sell the the club to someone who at least cares - they are just money grabbing as s - holes and just 2 lead waits around the legs of  every player+ Rafa's Neck

  5. gud point, soon evry1s guna be doin this and it will ruin football! man city will never be as gud as man u tho.
