Preschool term needed defining?

Anyone know what basic organized lines mean? Does this mean the child draws some shapes that are mostly recognizable and at what age does this occur? Since I know it is part of the developmental stages of art. Serious answers only. Thanks!

My 4 year old's pediatrician used that term when talking about her developement too.  She asked if my daughter draws simple stick figures, or is she more in depth by adding clothing, hair, shoes.  Apparently, around age 3 to 4 years is when they begin to do this and make them recognizable.
