Presentation tomorrow, trip to France?

Question

What are some things that I would need on a trip to France? I already have a couple.

Camera, phone, money, passport, visa (do you need one when you travel from out of country and what it is?).

Please HELP! I need at least 10 items.

I went to France two years ago, and if you have a passport you do not need a visa.  A visa is usually just like a one day pass into a country if you do not have a passport and really need in the country.  a copy of your birth certificate or social security card is always good.  a drivers license if you are planning to drive anywhere or rent a car.  driving laws vary in each country but you usually have to prove that you have one for at least the country you are coming from.  metro pass to get around big cities like france, hotel reservations, and a translation book for basic language barriers.

You don't need a visa to visit France from the US, unless you're going there to work; just your passport.
