Presents for a photographer??

Question

Well it is my boyfriends' 20th birthday in September and I have nooooo idea as to what to get him! He is off to uni to study photography and also does it for work and as a hobby! I don't particularly want to get him photography books (unless they are really really good!) as that seems pretty standard but photography equipment is so expensive i.e. wide angle lens, etc, and being a student myself I have a pretty tight budget.

Any ideas at all what I could get for a photographer (on a budget!)??

P.S. He said something about a limographic camera (or something like that!?)..what is that even?

Get him a gift certificate to a camera store, he'll be able to use it while at university.
